because such is the manner of our culture, please keep in mind that any game terms, or specific references to IP are the property of Wizards of the Coast LLC ("Wizards"; as their lawyers tell it). so, anything that sounds like its from the Forgotten Realms or WOTC probably is. i do not own any of their original designs or work and never have. i just consider this my educational and personal critique and appraisal of their work. so, in short, the original designs, names and facts are theirs, whereas the revisions and interpretations are mine.

i’d hate to get sued or have all of my work erased, because I forgot to mention that I didn’t make the Forgotten Realms or own Wizards of the Coast!

i envision this blog to be a place where i can post my thoughts and ideas regarding my love of dnd, with specific interest around the third edition. hopefully, this site will also serve as a sounding board to better my writing, and also serve as a distracting from pursuing a graduate degree. yes, i am trying to make reading and writing personal and fun again. this site, the red table was named after a small and plastic red table that my friends and i used to play d&d on for most of our time in first, second and third editions of the game.
